How it works
Bring your insurance details to your first appointment. Where we are set up to direct bill your plan, we submit the claim while you are at the desk and, in most cases, hear back within seconds — you pay only what your plan does not cover.
We are still completing direct billing approval with a few insurers, and we do not currently direct bill WorkSafeBC. Where direct billing is not yet available, or where your plan requires you to submit yourself, we give you a receipt with everything a claim needs: our clinic information, your therapist's CCHPBC registration number, the date, and the amount.
A note on plan limits
Most extended health plans cover a set dollar amount of massage therapy per calendar year, and some require a physician's referral before they will pay — that is a plan rule, not a legal one. Check your limit and your referral requirement before you book a long course of care. Our front desk is happy to help you read the fine print.
Receipts and GST
Massage therapy provided by a Registered Massage Therapist is exempt from GST in British Columbia. The price you see is the price you pay, and every appointment is receipted whether or not it was direct billed.
